In order for safety and health to be assured at work and during attendance of educational institutions, it is essential that employees, students and schoolchildren act in awareness of it.
This is especially true for those responsible for specific prevention measures in the workplace. Only when they perform their tasks effectively can workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and work-related health hazards be avoided, and effective first aid be ensured. Therefore, training these people, as well as the education and further training of the institutions' own staff, is one of the most important tasks of the German Statutory Accident Insurance.
